2 Backgammon Tips

These are my two backgammon tips for you:
First -
If you are slow during a backgammon competition, don't abandon a strategic supporting point. It would be smarter to wait for a suitable throw, and it might even (hopefully not) be your only chance to win.
Second -
If you're having problems deciding what move to play - don't think and hit! A hit is a good choice in many cases, especially if you hit into your opponent’s most vulnerable point - at his home.

Hope you'll find these two backgammon tips usefull.
I think about making this a routine.

And what do you think?
What are your two backgammon tips?

- if you think you are loosing the game because of your opponents very lucky dice throws, leave blots on your opponents way and keep as much checkers as possible in your opponents home, than start hitting in his/her home. it can turn the game to your favor.

sorry i have just one for now :)
